These new Black Coated Strings were developed by Cavanaugh Co.'s sister company Super-Sensitive Musical String Co. by using the winding technology of orchestral strings. They will allow musicians to play three to four times longer. You will see wear of the strings as well as having an indicator of when to replace them.
