I don't think I need to say where the inspiration for the design of this guitar came from but I will say they have done a fantastic job in modernising it. The steeper cuts on both sides of the body mean you get better access to the higher frets and the thin Wizard III neck means getting around this guitar is a breeze. The Tri Fade Burst finish is a classic design that has been used on guitars for years and when accented with gold and cream hardware you get a classy touch.
Still Feels Like An Ibanez
Although the looks are classic it plays just as well as any of the more modern Ibanez guitars. The maple Wizard III profile neck is thin flat and easy to work around and the mahogany body keeps the guitar sounding large. The finishing touches are all Ibanez style as well including the jumbo frest and body carves that all but speed and comfort first. No one wants a guitar that is hard to play so why not check out something beautifully small.
Core Tone Pickups
Classic meets modern with the hardware as well. These Ibanez made Core Tone pickups have been made especially for this style of guitar. With a hot output but classic sound this humbucker and single coil combination will carry you through nearly any style you will want to play.
